Urgent: Peace Network Mobilizes Aid for Hurricane Beryl Victims in the Caribbean

Volunteers of Peace Network in the Caribbean region are rapidly gathering reports and planning immediate humanitarian aid for areas heavily affected by Hurricane Beryl.

Hurricane Beryl is currently making landfall in the Eastern Caribbean with wind speeds reaching up to 250 km/h, posing a risk of becoming a Category 5 hurricane - the strongest and most catastrophic. Many island nations such as Grenada, Hispaniola, and the Dominican Republic are facing severe threats from strong winds, heavy rainfall, and flooding.

Peace Network volunteers are swiftly deploying aid plans, including the provision of food, clean water, essential supplies, and medical support for those affected. We urge humanitarian organizations, individuals, and communities to join hands in support, prayers, and solidarity with the nations in the region as they navigate this challenging time.

Wishing safety for all.
